From the desk of June Hale, Postmaster

Welcome to Maple Cove!

Walt Bramble has carried this route for thirty-eight years, and his knees have finally voted for retirement. You're covering for him for two weeks while I find someone permanent. No pressure.

Load up at the dock, mind the stop signs, and please stop by Walt's place. He wants to meet you.

A day on the route

Small town, big mail bag

Every day in Maple Cove starts in the back room of the post office and ends with the street lamps coming on.

Every letter has a story

Read the handwritten addresses and flick each letter into its street's cubby. Weigh the parcels and load the cart in route order, so you can hand them out in order later.

  • Stamp the letters that forgot their postage
  • Work out rain-smudged addresses from a clue
  • Forward mail for folks who moved away
  • And the odd mystery letter, for Harriet

Your trusty step van

Drive the route

Your van, your town

Follow the GPS or find your own way. Wave at the neighbors, beat Rex from Speedy Parcel to the doorstep, and fill up at Cove Fuel before the hill up Mt. Battie.

Upgrade the engine, paint it any color you like, or bring a cat along for the ride.

Meet the neighbors

Two weeks, ten neighbors

Grandma Odile always bakes one pie too many. Juniper, age nine, is counting Saturn's moons. Wen keeps the lighthouse, and Tomas named his boat after his mother.

Deliver their mail, stop for a chat, and watch a two-week story unfold, one letter at a time.

Home, sweet cottage

Make a home

A cottage of your own

Buy the little cottage behind the white picket fence, order furniture from the mail-order catalog, and arrange every piece just so.

Change into a new outfit, sleep in on a rainy morning, and walk out the front door to your van at the curb.

What's in the mail bag

Cozy, but never boring

Four seasons

Autumn leaves, winter snow, spring lilacs and summer crowds, with rain and fog to keep you on your toes.

A real morning routine

A hands-on sorting room where new kinds of tricky mail show up as the days go by.

The Harvest Fair

Pies to deliver, a park full of folks, and fireworks over the harbor at sunset.

A town that's alive

Traffic lights, stop signs and a very polite police force. Officer Pruitt always lets you off with a warning. The first time.

Play your way

Keyboard and mouse, a controller with rumble, or touch controls on a phone. Drive the route yourself or let the GPS show the way.

Your own pace

No game overs. Deliver what you can, chat with the neighbors, and head home when the lamps come on.
